Health Tip #10: Digestive problems? Your gut loves variety!

Scientists have known for several years that the greater the diversity of gut bacteria, the better for digestion, the immune system, and possibly even your mental health. A one-sided diet, in turn, can throw your gut flora out of balance. It's best to eat at least 25 different types of plants (fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts) per week—this way, you support a diverse microbiome!
